I have so many thoughts, but they will have to come out in full as I think them over. What I am struck by is how prescient it is for me as I think over what it means for Gods to not be "subjects" or "subjectivities", and how to understand myth in a non-reductionist manner.

Aristotle as proto-Race theorist. I wonder if this is a necessary part of his ontologizing project. Can there be an Aristotelian Pros-hen based ontology that doesn't produce (proto)racist logic?

Present not qua hyparxis, but present qua activity. One wonders how this "presence" is not just the very existence of that environment qua some aspect of existence. Aquinas famously denies God creating through the Angels.

This is the "aeviternity" Wolfgang Smith talks about. I sometimes wonder if this applies to infra-intellective hypercosmic souls.

I think this makes a lot more sense of what @epbutler.bsky.social says about even the highest Gods being immediately present here even qua activity. If this is some of the fruit of engagement with the Neoplatonists, Aquinas is a very attentive reader.
