I was in Syracuse helping Mom replace her 2007 Prius ... with 2025 red Prius! We also did Easter service at All Saints church, a much more colorful place now, run by an openly gay priest, and with a Congolese refugee community. We walked around Meadowbrook, watched Conclave, and killed the Pope!

Skiing in Japan! Here with Tom, BJ, Matt, Jon, and Tom 2 for our annual ski trip. This was at the top of Goryu in Hakuba valley yesterday. It's been snowing like crazy. Japow!

Spent the last week in Syracuse with my sister helping Mom recover from heart surgery (to fix an aortic aneurysm that would have been fatal otherwise). Mom's home now, and so am I. Lisa flew home today. This is me & mom & nurses, last day in hospital.

Hi BlueSky! I'm going to start here with something blue, in the sky. I took this picture of Neptune and its moon Triton from my back yard in San Francisco last Monday night with my Celestron Origin scope. (I lead software engineering at Celestron, btw!)
Voyager 2's picture for comparison.
