Yes, I shot about an hour of footage, one frame per second, then culled the frames with lightning bolts, and merged them in Photoshop.

Here's a second camera, pointing in a different direction (toward Los Angeles), same thing.

"The Heart Nebula is an emission nebula, 7500 light years from Earth and located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. Discovered by William Herschel on 3 November 1787. It displays glowing ionized hydrogen gas and darker dust lanes."

Crescent Nebula.

It formed when a star became a red giant around 400,000 years ago, creating two shock waves, one moving outward and one moving inward. The inward moving shock wave heats the stellar wind to X-ray-emitting temperatures.
