It’s astonishing to see just how much modern right wing ideology can twist someone’s thinking. Hopefully she’ll never be in government again.

A comic book with a 1950s, film noir setting, but with the characters as anthropomorphised animals doesn’t sound like a recipe for success, but it actually works pretty well. A nice level of language for the intermediate French learner too. #bd #bandedessine #fle

Just finished this one - it was the inspiration for the film 'Blue is the Warmest Colour', but fortunately it’s rather less…problematic. Loved the artwork, and the story is powerful and emotional. The ending is probably the weakest part, but it still packs a powerful punch.
