As an urban millenial cargo bike dad, I’m a big fan of these (waterproof, boa system/no laces, long-lasting sole). They’re a little pricey, but they last a long time: icebug.com/explore-iceb...

Haze RB9X GTX has a wide last with generous space, making it suitable for many types of feet. The popular BOA Fit System makes it easy to lace the shoe and find the perfect fit.

I just use twist ties for the cable when I put a hub motor back on, rather than zip tying it again. One less thing to deal with next time.

Less time getting to the park, even on very pleasant streets, means more time walking in the park.

Rough collies are great dogs. They need to be walked regularly, but are not super high energy. The shedding is very manageable, especially with a pet-hair roomba. Their coats are pretty magical. Mud just brushes out when it dries, and the hair just grows to the right length and stops.

Recently did an airport pickup (brought a brompton for the person I was picking up to the airport in the cargo bike, and took a suitcase in the cargo bike on the way from the airport)
