I see it. I have lived it. 83 years ago, the U.S. government turned upon a group of its own citizens and residents and sent them to internment camps without due process. I was there among them. American fascism is back. It is here. It is now.

For all Trump's talk of manufacturing jobs, you didn't see the CEOs of GE and Caterpillar sitting in the prime seats today. You saw the CEOs of Amazon and X and Meta and Google and TikTok.

It's the attentional oligarchs whose power he cares about.

I called it. This isn’t about mass deportations, it’s about targeting Blue cities so he can incite violence and activate the Insurrection Act. Chicago, San Francisco, etc. He’s purposely going to poke the bear to start fights so he can activate the military against Americans.

"There is, unfortunately, no law of nature that says democracy can’t be brought down & wars can’t be started by a bunch of clowns if they have enough support from people, parties, & institutions who enable them. It’s all just a farce – until the goons & buffoons are in power. That’s where we are."
Navigating the Nonsense and Propaganda of Clownish Authoritarianism
Ignoring what Trump says won’t work. Constant outrage is not a viable strategy either. We must find a more productive way to engage Trump’s dangerous outlandishness

What you won't see on Jan 6th 2025

A violent mob of Democrats trying to put Kamala Harris in power over the will of the voters

The last 4 years Trump & his supporters denied the legitimacy of 2020 election

Trump invited & incited them on Jan 6th to keep him in power

Never forget Jan 6th

"Trump repeatedly promised voters that he would reduce prices to pre-covid levels. This pledge, which he's already walked back, was never rooted in a real plan, but he skated by with help from a press that has spent nearly a decade normalizing his lies."
Trump's walk back on lowering prices is a media failure
He was lying all along and got away with it.

Elon Musk has a net worth of approximately $486 billion

Yesterday, he decided to use his influence to convince House Republicans to shut down the government

As a result, TSA agents will be required to report to work over the holidays WITHOUT PAY

The average TSA agent makes less than 50K/year
