So many heartwarming & touching backstories to this buoy wall in my Yarmouth, NS hometown. Love the buoy wall. Love it even more after the couple who created it told me about its impact & about how it all began with a henhouse filled not with eggs, but with buoys.

Changes are coming to a problematic intersection in Yarmouth County that has been the scene of collisions and fatalities over the years. The most recent life claimed was a 17-yr-old teenager. The intersection is being turned into a 4-way stop.

When South-Korean born Sonia Park looks at the Korean War veterans seated at a table in her Yarmouth County NS restaurant, she doesn’t see just friends. She sees family. And she thanks them in a special way.

I completely agree with Brier Island residents. Removing Margaret’s Justice ferry that can handle up to 18 vehicles & replacing it with the Scotian ferry that can accommodate 7 or less, if it comes to this, is a terrible decision & solution. #trafficnightmares

Was very poignant to watch firefighters march from the Yarmouth Fire Hall to Beacon Church on the morning of April 9 for the funeral of retired Platoon Chief Lynn Seeley whose impact on the fire service will always be felt and remembered. He was a great firefighter and a great guy.
