I shouldn’t be surprised but I’m profoundly concerned Blue Shield of California has contracted with Amazon to provide pharmaceutical services. So far working to obtain medications has been difficult bordering on impossible. Dr. prescribed RXs listed as UNAVAILABLE. Profit primacy. #healthcare

Today’s roadblock: trying to get Rxs transferred after learning Blueshield switched their mail order pharmacy from Caremark to Amazon. My unease was compounded by the fact that none of my Rxs transferred even after customer service assistance of more than 40 minutes.

You know that quiet that descends after you’ve had your dearest around and it’s loud and chatty and excited and it’s so sweet and they’ve gone and it’s quiet and it’s a little sad and also good sit and be quiet? Diary Entry of Social Masking Introvert.

Giving me hope.
We’re all hurting. I don’t have all the answers.

But I know that things won’t be this bleak forever.

I ran against a MAGA incumbent in a “safe red” district in KY as a progressive, openly queer, 28-year-old trans woman.

And I won.

Please, don’t let your heartbreak turn into apathy or cynicism 💙
