it's not that they are now, but if they're going to forego there own ToS over the mere possibility of backlash, that can only end in the bar getting lower and lower for what they'll allow. This whole debacle seems like a giant green light for processors and bad faith groups to get more aggressive.

I just don't understand how it's in the interests of any of these storefronts to bury products based on potential or false public perception? If you don't enforce your content rules based on what those rules ACTUALLY are and what the offending product ACTUALLY contains, your store will fall apart.

Demonised, absolutely. I know that most of the red scare was total shit and all, but like, saying stuff like "its leadership made mistakes" when that includes people like Stalin sounds genuinely insane to me. Evil shit did happen, just like it did in America and here in the UK.

okay hang on, a lot of replies have me worried here; you guys know that the Soviet Union and Communism are not one and the same, correct? Clearly the labeller in the pic doesn't understand that, obvs, but like, you all do know that the USSR was bad?

Gerbert would be a direct action kinda communist. He'd go apeshit in a stock exchange like Jesus in the temple.
