Fall is my favorite time of year in Maine.
Our sweet Sookie passed away a couple of hours ago. Even though we had her 19 years and I knew this was coming I’m a mess. She was the best companion and loved us so much. I was with her and she was on our deck in the sun. It hurts!

Yesterday we escaped to @lakestgeorge in Maine. We took our kayaks on their maiden voyages and tried to forget about the mess the USA is.
