Thanks so much for posting this. I am a preschool teacher and a parent. I am also a fan of adult only places. It is nuts that hiring a babysitter will cost as nearly as much as the night out. I very much appreciate the amount of kindness and respect you afford children in this thread.

🎯I continued to work as well. And yes that initial quarantine felt so restorative. It was such a relief, even though I had it, to be away from the constant chance of COVID.

Don’t forget the childcare workers. We were caring for the children of essential workers, while becoming essential workers ourselves.
