Right? I've been unemployed for a better part of this year and yet my numbers are nowhere near that. If I spent a lot of time gaming at least I'd know where all that free time went. Mine just disappears.

I love seeing people mention "old" games that played because it often feels like if you don't play something in the year it came out, there is not much space to talk about it or put it on any list.

If I finish the main story before finishing the side quests, I'm never coming back to them. If I do the side quests before the main story, I may have more than enough of the game before I get to the end. There is no winning sometimes.

But then I have to mark it as abandoned on backloggd rather than push through until I hate it and give it a low rating 😭

It was so difficult at times. I had multiple game overs and ended up scum saving like crazy because one mistake can ruin your whole week.

Agreed with Marcus. Plus streams being able to stay on youtube indefinitely is great if you're always late to the party like me. You can just put them into your watch later playlist so they can stare at you forever.

What made you try so many times? Sometimes I come back and love a thing, sometimes I still dislike it for the same reasons. This makes it hard to know when I should really drop something and when to persevere. Because all the things I loved the most I wasn't hooked on immediately.

I can think of two. Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. I tried them at first, didn't vibe with them and put them down for months. Then I tried them again and they became some of my favorite Nintendo platformers. I don't really know what changed. Sometimes it's random.

Not sure if this is a joke or you're assuming they're 10 years younger than they are 😂 Though I could believe they're in their early 20s if I didn't know any better.

I've seen some people who clean the fridge one shelf at a time as needed. You never get the satisfaction of a fully clean fridge but it may also not get as disgusting as it does when you can't get yourself to do it all at once and keep putting it off. I guess that applies to everything

I've only watched a let's play of this game as I don't have the braincells for it but I agree. If the credits weren't where they are and you just got the cut scene, nobody would really think to end the game there.

Hey, is there a reason your VODs don't stay up on your twitch? Due to timezone reasons I never manage to catch you live. I've heard you talk a bunch about Persona 5 but can't watch anything beyond what you put on youtube.

I don't know if this is an american thing or an English language thing but isn't that a sausage? In my mind a sausage in a bun = hot dog. A sausage eaten without the bun is just a sausage.
