They are easily found - Bunnings and Flower Power usually have them. There are some taller varieties (up to 2m+) but they also grow wider and they'll become annoying trying to pass them on the path. You can always turn on your considerable charm at garden centres and they'll help you out. 😁

AI needs to hang up its gardening gloves. That garden bed is far too sunny and hot for those azaleas, hostas and hydrangeas.
Try some polygala 'Little Bibi' plants. Green, tough (South African native), compact (easily pruned when needed), and Mrs. K may enjoy the purple flowers. 1/2

They had multiple guns with them on the footbridge. The older gunman, who was disarmed by Ahmed al Ahmed, returned to the footbridge and picked up another gun. As he died next to where his son was injured, I'd say that he and his son were shot by the police.

There were people right along the beach yesterday, because it was a hot day in Sydney (33 degrees C). The event however was not along the full length of the beach, just the northern end - where the shooters aimed.

Because the shootings happened at the northern end of the beach where an event organised by and for the Jewish community was being held. Not the middle of the beach. Not the southern end of the beach. The shooters were directing their guns only to the northern end of the beach where the event was.
