Likes to lurk with only the occasional snarky comment that I then get told off about because 'thats not how we do things over here'.
I rewatched it recently and couldn't quite bring myself to do the last episode

If only there was a social network where... now bear with me on this... You could have a select group of friends that you share things with and where you would only see content that they posted (rather than random crap from an algorithm).

Funnily enough, when I saw the book cover it made me think of the sort of thing my late mum would say. "He's not the full seven tenths of a second him" works well.

Sadly, I suspect betting ad revenue is all that is keeping the likes of ITV going

Didn't they eventually recast both wives and switch the plot so he was sick of his 1940s wife and suddenly interested in his modern day wife again? I vaguely remember thinking it seemed odd - like a statement about the new actresses or something.

Bit Biggins centric. He described every actor as eccentric and then chose the pantomime episode as his favourite because it helped him get panto work.

Also worth mentioning that this is often accompanied by (MRI) brain scans that look for decreased mass in certain areas.

You do the test more than once to measure the rate of decline. Normally every 6 months or so. I assume frequency varies depending on the patients access to nuclear launch codes.

Watched it yesterday with the kids. The strip dance scene was a bit 'more' than I remembered. The kids may be scarred. I certainly am.

Shit! Totally missed the brief - that's my best celebrity encounter. Most minor would be getting off a train and John Barnes got on. Or was on a train and Jeff Banks was asleep in the same carriage. Always trains!!

I thankfully rarely tread upon Apple turf but yesterday tried to get Apple TV for over the Xmas period. Apparently my account is locked and I cannot reset my password. The email telling me this says I should therefore reset my password. Good thing UX is important to apple or I'd be fooked.

Went along the lines of "the only thing bigger than his drinking problem was the size of his 'manhood' and unfortunately the two combined at a live performance where, quite drunk, he exposed both"

Back around 2004 (based on my memory of where I was working) he popped into my mind and I wondered "what ever happened to..." Did a bit of searching and found an explanation I'll always remember....

Some people will try this. They may also try microwaving scrunched up tinfoil to make a metal ball or try throwing boiling water into very cold air to do... whatever that was. Some people are stupid and it seems they multiplying.

The AI didn't generate that itself. Some prick instructed it to produce the video then posted it like it was real. It's not the leg/finger glitches that's the problem. It's the lie. It's the intent.

I tried to find why Google moved away from it's "don't be evil" motto. Best explanation I could find was:
“Don’t be evil” became difficult to apply consistently or defend publicly.

Having your fridge serve adverts at you seems like fitting punishment for being daft enough to buy a fridge that serves adverts at you

I lament that the year gap between Normal Collier's fame peak and Zoom work meetings means that not only do people not understand me, they also don't understand the joke reference when my WiFi sorts itself out.

I loved the idea that 'cups' is a fluid measurement because the mental US system where cups is an actual thing rather than just an indicator of HOW MANY ACTUAL CUPS OF HOT WATER YOU MIGHT GET

The speccy music still lives with me to this day. Just yesterday I was humming it. And now I am again.
