I’ve officially reached the stage of my PhD where I have to self-medicate whatever’s wrong with my brain via copious amounts of caffeine. This will certainly have very foreseeable consequences.

Hot grad school take #2: everybody has their pet “thing that’s never going to work” in academia. Mine is viral-based gene therapy. If AAVs have one hater, it’s me. I just think they’re a waste of time. I look forward to being proven wrong, though.
