Thank you everyone for the info on working with vintage quilts, I have a plan for a bit of repair and then finishing it by hand by tying and a thin batting, backing, binding.

Quilters of BlueSky, I need your help. This unfinished quilt top has likely been in a box for over 50 years, is completely hand stitched. Each square is about the size of a saltine cracker and the whole top is huge, at least queen size but going to measure. #Quiltsky
