Waiting outside for last night’s Andy Tauer event at Fumerie Parfumerie. In addition to being a brilliant perfumer, Andy is charming, and the event was a lot of fun. I came home with a signed bottle Andy’s latest release: Heraud, a warm, sweet fragrance featuring double extracted cacao bean.

A Tour de France rider stopped to kiss his wife and little boy and got fined for it. Low stakes story, I know, but I don’t think it’s the kissing the family that “damages the image of the sport” in this story.
News story paragraph that reads: For stopping his ride to kiss his family, Bernard was slapped with a fine of 200 Swiss francs ($223) by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) for what the governing body deemed “unseemly or inappropriate behavior during the race and damage to the image of sport.”
