Even if the public defender does not win, at least she is fighting to save the lives of voters, instead of negotiating with the executioner about whether voters will die by starvation or by lack of healthcare.

Voters have figured out that the good cop and the bad cop both work for the same police department, and neither cop is on their side. What they actually need is a public defender.

It is important that we NOT ignore the fact that there is no political centre or left in American politics. Both parties are beholden to corporate interests (which is the Mussolini definition of fascism).
