I feel like it’s going to end up a waste of time and money in the end that could go towards making their natural life better and *healthier*. Spend it on good quality food, preventatives, annual labs, enrichment, etc.

Exactly!! I feel like it’s such a battle to get animals necessary care and routine labs particularly as they age—even when people have the $ to do them. I can see how people would see this as a “cure all” and be mad when Fluffy still has diabetes that needs to be managed, just now at age 20

I saw this recently and I’m not excited about it. I think it’s troubling mainly because long life ≠ good QOL. I’ve seen too many animals kept alive longer than they should have and it’s heartbreaking. My mind can be changed in the future but right now I’m not liking this.
