If in doubt, make it a function :)

Lil suggestion, but you could have an apply damage method on the enemies, which takes the damage for the bullet as an argument. That way, if you add armor later, for instance, that could be a factor in the applying of damage. There doesn't seem a need for a bullet to "know" how much HP an enemy has.

Here is chatgpt's attempt at making a simple easter egg game for an ecommerce site as a promotion. It's both impressive and utterly useless. Impressive in that it wrote it's own webgl "engine" from scratch, useless in that it'd take so long to turn into something usable.

It's devaluing the industry because clients, which are typically not technical people, think a game can just be magicked out of thin air with a few prompts. As an experiment I thought I'd try chatgpt 5 with a simple brief for a game I made some time ago. Let's see what it came up with.

Top tip, use a matrix2d, the y dimension isn't that important from the AI's point of view ;)

Ah that's cool. Exactly how we did it, good to know wasn't a crazy solution :)

Looks great. I worked on a football game few years back, was tricky creating the AI. How did you handle it?

That's what I did in the end. It's still just a zip file but at least it isn't a sketchy looking mediafire link 😅

That's a good suggestion. At least can verify is nothing dodgy in there :)
