Grit punk IS NOT conservative or republican. Grit Punk is anti racism, anti homophobia, anti transphobia, anti transmedicalism. We are southern lifestyle based due to the ideal life of homesteading, farming, herbalism, not hateful outdated bigotry

- Hats Wide-brimmed hats like cowboy hats, baseball caps, or even beanies with a worn-out look.
- Hair would be lower maintenance, possibly in locks, braids, mohawks, shag haircuts or a just-rolled-out-of-bed style.

- Utility Bags Sling bags or backpacks made from repurposed materials, often covered in patches.
- Sturdy Boots, thick-soled boots made for trudging through mud, farms, or protests. They may have added details like hand-stitched patterns, skulls, or symbols of resistance.

- Leather or Handcrafted Belts Often with big belt buckles that represent a mix of country and rebellious attitude.
- Handmade Jewelry Necklaces with hand-carved stones, (ethically collected) bones, or iron, representing Southern roots.

- Tough, functional boots: like Dr. Martens, steel-toe work boots, or vintage cowboy boots.
- Bandanas or Kerchiefs: Worn as headbands, neck coverings, or tied to the back pocket-could be used to honer hanky code

- Tees: Featuring anarchist symbols, anti-capitalist slogans, or icons from Southern and rural folklore.

GRIT PUNK STYLE??
Grit Punk individuals are not forced to wear certain styles but would probably be seen wearing a style that blends rugged practicality, and a defiant attitude toward societal norms-

Grit Punk music?
They would listen to bands that combine working-class rebellion, and an earth based defiance. They’d gravitate toward punk bands that fuse elements of hardcore, anarcho-punk, folk, and Southern rock. Celebrating individualism, resilience, and activism.

It’s an inclusive genre that ties together activism, environmentalism, human rights, community building, and farming, and southern spirituality.

Ive decided to call this homebrewed subgenre Grit Punk, combining parts of anarcho, folk, and eco-punk/green-punk, with an emphasis on southern and spiritual roots.
