I had liked but not loved Worst Person so didn’t rush to see this film but Sentimental Value cracked me open. Fantastic performances from all 4 leads. Also the wardrobe & cinematography were fantastic.

Been planning a Mothership campaign, and I’ve been deep diving into Sci-Fi inspirations and decided to replay Citizen Sleeper. Just a lovely game full of complicated characters and tough choices.

I’ve been a supporter of Jimmie Fails since I saw Last Black Man in San Francisco. He felt like an old fashioned actor that silently portrayed vulnerability and earnestness. So it was a great surprise while watching Nickel Boys to go from “that actors face is so familiar” to “wait that’s Jimmie”!

Invented a new niche genre of films.
