You are clearly a dedicated, talented, brave, and respected member of the military. You should serve as long as you like. The day cannot come soon enough that you are welcomed back. I hope some of your team members and those colonels, admirals, and generals spoke up for you.
I have been officially placed on administrative leave, effective tomorrow, pending separation. This is my farewell.

Maybe instead of pronouncing it like “doje,” the media should say it like “doggie.” That would make it sound silly and perhaps annoy the right folks.

He’s pausing federal funding for an AIDS program that George W. Bush founded, and that has saved 25 million lives. But those are the lives of people he doesn’t give a s**t about. A friend who has done AIDS work in Uganda for 25 years told us just now that it is “chaos” there today, “a disaster.”
