Tipping Pitches Power Hour April Fundraiser Hi everyone! As you might've heard on the pod, we are raising money from now until the end of April to support access to sports for LGBTQ+ youth. Baseball — and all sports — should be a place where people feel safe and part of a community, not one where arbitrary lines are drawn to exclude people based on their identities. We need your help with two things! First — we need some nominations for charities that you know that are doing good work in this space. We've picked out a few places, but we don't pretend to be experts, and so we want to rely on the wisdom of our community here! Second — as part of our fundraising efforts, we'll be kicking off the month of April with a second edition of the Tipping Pitches Power Hour, where we'll be answering 60 questions in exactly 60 minutes and taking 60 shots (or sips) of beer along the way. So, give us some questions! They can be about baseball, movies, music, art, literature, politics, urbanism, The Left, podcasting, media, food, watches, style, or anything else you can think of! The only condition: we need to be able to answer them in the course of 60 seconds. Nothing long-winded! Final note: the Power Hour itself will post on our normal feed. The second half (where we let loose and go deeper on some of our favorite questions from the Power Hour) will be posted on the Tipping Pitches Patreon. If you donate $12 or more (the price of one month of our top tier) and you're not already a member, we'll send you a link to get a free month of the Patreon at our top tier, where you'll be able to access the Power Hour that the fundraiser is linked to, as well as every bonus episode, newsletter, and more that we've posted since we launched.
