I do not believe it is possible to fight against fascism, or oppression, or exploitation, or hate by any other name we give it, and fail. Any righteous act can inspire another, regardless of how long it takes for that to manifest. This is the same fight that we have always fought.

If their fight inspired someone to write a book, and that inspired someone to make a musical, and a song from that musical has gone on to inspire millions of people in Hong Kong, South Korea, America, etc, then I don't think their fight was a failure.
