Once you elbow grease all the muck off, soak a paper towel in pickle brine and lay it over the copper. I was able to shine up the copper on my Gramma’s million year old Revereware pots that way. Takes some work, but it’s lovely to get it shiny if only for once before you start using it.

Pickle brine polishes and shines copper beautifully when you get to that point!

Ugh. Have been on 300 mg to occasionally 900 mg for a couple of years. It works so well. And a daily low dose tramadol. I’m so fearful of doing anything that can increase my dementia risk that I will have to talk to my pain management doc to see if she has something else.

Ha! I suspect it was taught to my Gramma in the 50s. She remarried and moved from
Mississippi to Indiana outside of Chicago in around 1954. No one in her family cursed-
at least around women- in MS. She was quite shocked and dismayed to hear curse words used liberally. She adapted well. Ha!

Someone taught this toast to my Gramma ( born 1919, rarely used curse words including “hell”) and she laughed and laughed everytime she used it- “Here’s to you and here’s to me, may we never disagree. But if we ever disagree, to hell with you and here’s to me!”
