It's not needed to understand his whole situation, but it's still crazy to me that, purely in-game, you can't know that "Phainon" has subconscious memories of the past cycles without having him in your box

It's really interesting to look at the description of the Eternal Recurrence from a programming pov
it's not an actual timeloop, instead it's a "error encountered, save data in another place, study them, try something else" kind of loop

I believe there's a compilation of Mydei's own subconscious memories somewhere, and the sim breaking down which "leaks" memories of previous cycles, I'll try finding it again
