Yeah, as a vegetarian I'm absolutely fine with lanolin-based D3, my problem is that most D3 is sold as softgels made with gelatin. So I get one of the few brands that puts it in a tablet instead, but it's still lanolin-based.

I don't know of anything that is exactly that, but peak usage is very predictable based on time of day and outside temperature, so you don't necessarily need any internet connection, just an outside temperature sensor and some simple logic.
