Cataract update: I had my follow-up with the retina specialist and got the all clear. That was one worry off my plate, so join me in a sigh of relief! Next week, I'm meeting with the doctor to discuss timing and details of the surgery. I'm not excited about it, but not dreading it either. Lots of family have been through this, so I know more or less what to expect. The main source of anxiety remains the same: my $2K out-of-pocket costs beyond what insurance covers. I know it's a terrible time to ask, but if you can spare a few dollars or spread the word, it all helps. I have Venmo, PayPal, and Ko-Fi links in my linktree if you'd like to help and it won't put you in a bad place financially. FYI, there's a progress tracker on my Ko-Fi if you'd lke to see where things stand. Thanks to everyone who has left encouragement or helped out. It means more than you know.
