it's been a while... so back to the Hope and Honey story. When Honey arrived and we introduced her to Hope they got on OK....

It's a hot day here and Honey and Hope are demonstrating the two types of summer Londoners...happily licking themselves in the sunshine Vs angrily sitting in their shady wagon.

When Honey arrived she was the reverse of Hope - she spent her first few weeks hiding under the bed and socialising with my wife (Hope's spare human)

Hope was probably too distracted having fun outdoors to notice a disturbance in the force. Whilst she was getting spayed and venturing outside, just down the road in a feral cat colony....

more text than pictures now. Hope was getting older but she was still very small - the legacy of abandonment and hand feeding as a tiny kitten. This was important because she was approaching the age when she'd come into season, but was too light to be neutered.

Now for "hope wanted to go out into the garden" thread. She had a box to play in, but wanted to roam in the great outdoors (and was too small, and un-neutered)

tomorrow i will do a thread about Hope wanting to go out, not being able to go out and then going out. I was very worried about this topic because she was so smol. smol and angry

continuing the Hope story...her bonding with me in her early years. We were expecting her to be timid when she arrived and to hide until she was secure (that's what our other cat had done) - so when she popped out of the carrier we expected her to hide under the furniture
