Been seeing more people with the title ‘Member of Technical Staff.’
Anthropic seems to have kicked it off.
Looks like it serves multiple purposes. One interesting reason is it makes poaching harder. If everyone has the same title it’s harder for recruiters.

I looked back into the rest of the plane - everyone using Cursor.

It gives me fully typed URLs and makes it dead simple to change routes in one place.
