As much as I tried not to get my hopes up high, I couldn't help but believe that people would do right this time. Sadly, I was wrong.
For me, the thing that knocked the wind out of me with this election is that I dared to believe America would get it right THIS time, that America was ready for a Woman President.
It hurt having that blind faith in neighbors, friends, and strangers smacked out of me.
