Three out of fourteen stair treads replaced. I've laser-cut a template for trimming and drilling. Should speed up the rest.
Really kicking myself for not ordering one extra as a spare. Notching around the posts takes me an extra half an hour because any whoopsies will cost me dearly.

Mother in law kindly house- and dog-sat for us while we were away on holiday for a few days. Saved us a lot of hassle and money, I'm very grateful.
Though I did have to go through the kitchen cupboards and re-wash anything she washed, to get rid of the dirty-dishwater-teatowel stank.

Nooo I ordered a long black with "some ice" because I knew I'd need to drink it in a hurry. Normally this means one ice cube to take the edge off. Instead I got a slightly below body temperature coffee :(

Also the booking confirmation email has an ID in the query string that doesn't work, so we can't access the booking detail page.
