This is a very important subject and to see a company promote and actively allow the exploitation of vulnerable people and children in spending real money on gambling-like mechanics is absurd. @michaelmcgratheu.bsky.social this is why the Digital Fairness Act is more important than ever.

Have I ever worn anything that could have been stolen? I have no way of denying that, but that's not the point either. Whataboutism is not a valid form of criticism in my book and it only makes the commenter look like an idiot.

If anyone believes a creator or merchant is selling stolen or unauthorized content: 1) Start gathering evidence, there's a plethora of tools available to aid you in identifying patterns and images 2) document and validate your findings and 3) reach out to the person you are accusing.

Accusing anyone of theft without carrying out any due diligence or providing any evidence to support the claim just makes it a baseless accusation - that's not going to change anything or help anyone.

Not sure what you are on about. I have only done what they asked us to do. There was absolutely zero mention of us not being able to write about the meeting. Brad even started the meeting specifically mentioning that we could quote him.

it's really awesome that you take the time to let the original creators know. As you say, they may very well miss the IMs you're sending which is not at all ideal... It is clear that there are still ways to go - but at least we are seeing active participation from LL now, which is a start.
