These measures will have economic consequences. High tariffs could hurt consumers and businesses while not fully resolving the problems they aim to address. Sigh! Complex issues need nuanced solutions.

I see your point, but keeping the tariffs doesn’t necessarily mean agreeing with how or why they were implemented. Policies like these often take time to unwind or adjust, especially when they’re tied to broader trade strategies or negotiations.
