But the chances of somebody with a spare £10 only making 4% is pretty slim.
Anyway, the proposal is to tax wealth over £10m. So, your person must have wealth of £10m, plus £10m in the bank. They gain 4% - £400k and pay tax of £200k. At the end of the year they still have £20.2m.

A depressingly large number of them, I’d guess more than a third are domestic murders or murder-suicides.

UK figures match Wikipedia on mass shootings. Firearm related with at least four casualties. Doesn’t include violence during the troubles, does include police shooting the perpetrators in the London Bridge attack. Many resulted in injuries but no dead.

I don’t disagree on police taking action to prevent public disorder but this appears to be a ludicrous approach to doing so 🤷♂️
