Sadly, already above my budget, but shipping costs kill it for me.

Other companies supply their own OS free of google services, but at a cost, which I currently can't afford. Google and Apple own us if we buy into their ecosystems, non of our personal information is really safe, but there isn't a practical, affordable alternative.

There didn't seem to be a straight forward way of downloading and saving from iTunes, before deleting the account. Despite spending all that money it was never really mine. At least I managed to save about 30% of my Big Finish library as mp3s before that went.

I wasn't a massive music fan in my teens/twenties, but the small collection of CDs i had were accidentally taken to charity when I was temporarily homeless. I did at one point replace them on iTunes, but they were lost yet again when I rage deleted my account in protest of evil Apple.
