My youngest will be a college senior next year. She depends on student loans. How are we supposed to plan for next year? My oldest is getting ready to apply to medical school. Will she still be able to get federal loans? What a mess.

That was definitely drilled into our brains in law school. More recently, many government offices canceled some subscriptions to save money. My state office included.

Can someone please post a link to the executive order? I’ve read the EO’s on the White House web site that were entered yesterday and I see no such order. Maybe it hasn’t been uploaded yet? I’m an attorney who wants to read the actual order.

I received the measles vaccine between 1963-1967 and was required to be re-vaccinated with MMR when I began college in 1992 because the inactivated vaccine some of us received was determined to be ineffective. Yes, I’m THAT old. lol.

Interesting legal theory. I wish I believed it would succeed. I’m not sure plaintiffs have standing. Additionally, the complaint lacks substantive legal analysis.

The problem is that our representatives and senators are still operating under rules and law of democracy, which will not work against an authoritarian form of government making a power grab. I fear we are watching the fall of our democracy. We need real leadership right now.
