As I continue copyedits for my queer Appalachian romantasy, I continue to fall more and more in love with the cover. It captures so much about what I love about this story: the moodiness, the imminent political violence, the pulsing desire between the two MCs.

I can't wait for release day!

I’ve misssed Elby’s ever since they closed, so I’ll go to a Big Boy any chance I can get. Frisch’s did not disappoint, and the hot fudge cake was a particular delight.

I love getting to meet new folks and connect with readers, and this particular fest is truly fantastic! If you’re in Lexington, stop by the Kentucky Book Festival.

It's here, it's here, it's here! The cover for A Bond of Blood and Stone has arrived, and it's GORGEOUS. I truly love it so much. It captures the broody, steamy energy of the book. And, I mean, just LOOK at it!

It will be available for preorder in November, with a release date of Dec 16, '25.

He loves to pose for me (mostly because he knows he’s a handsome devil).

This little excerpt from my forthcoming queer Appalachian romantasy is one of the best things I've ever written, I think. It sums up so much of what it's like to be Appalachian.

NGL. Writing this blurb for A Heart of Blood and Stone was worth it, but it's the closest I've come to distilling my story to its pure essence. What y'all think?
September 30, 2025 at 4:50 PM
Well, I worked up the blurb. I'm pretty okay with this version, though obviously I'm going to keep tinkering. Happy to take any thoughts or suggestions or impressions, though!
