Finally had some time to start painting again, the underpaintings look really rough but I'm glad I could start these pieces
Light yellow canvas with a butterfly sketch outlined in blue and purple-ish red with green and blue lines sketches around it and under it Blue background that is darker in the middle than the outside with green plants sketched around a purple-ish red piece of driftwood painted in the middle of the canvas. There are sketches for what will be four small red shrimp sitting on the driftwood, the aquarium gravel is painted a slightly darker shade than the driftwood Sketch of a dog's face painted yellow on a blue background with a light purple border

Did a few little paintings on some paint sample cards but apparently they're too smooth for the gauche to stick
