Why not go to a local school that is prohibiting their use in a classroom (not banning them outright) to understand the situation a little better before making statements like this? You could be putting some schools/principals/superintendents in a bad situation with messages like these.

If anything, it will likely increase their approval (for some reason, somehow, God only knows why) because they are "being real".

How about, in exchange for increasing rates, removing the cap allowing anyone to hookup solar panels or other renewables to the power grid in the state? Give everyone a chance to get a piece of the pie. DTE has been lobbying hard against having any competition.

They always say they are going to do x,y,z with the extra money but is there any follow-up to figure out if the rate hike(s) are being utilized effectively -- because my power still goes out all the time. (and the generator business continues to boom)
