I don't know a whole lot, but from what I saw, someone called Rev, who is affiliated with them, mocked Miss Lala for speaking out against ICE, which resulted in their followers harassing her and calling her slurs.
It sounds like there's more to it, but this is mu first time hearing about them.

I'm hyped for the Fallen London TTRPG.

Give them the ability to heal. Even if the battle doesn't end up super difficult, players immediately get concerned when they realize the enemy can heal. My preference is to make it a bonus action, too, so it doesn't get in the way of them doing damage, or even make it also deal damage.

Surprisingly healthy, all things considered. Despite beginning the romance being a panicked attempt to avoid combat, the PC decided to pursue it genuinely. And while Nimblewrights can't speak (immobile faces), but it turns out the PC knew Common Sign Language.

Hey, same!

Two nat 1s followed by a nat 20 led to one of my players starting a romance with the Nimblewright in Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. You're only supposed to interact with it the one time.

Ah, yeah, that's probably not terribly helpful.

There's definitely pros and cons. For me, seeing low-skill art does reassure me that genAI probably wasn't involved. But people definitely might assume that the skill of the art is reflective of the skill kf the design and writing. Would it be possible for you to do an A/B test?

I was pretty disappointed with 3, so I'm cautiously optimistic for the new one.

Probably the DMPC that my friend made to give our party a healer. He was a Chaotic Good Aasimar Cleric of Life. I felt so bad for him, unknowingly getting involved in our gang of criminals. (Two of us literally had the criminal background and the other was a barbarian who loved violence.)

As he and I brainstorm for our TTRPG, I occasionally remind my best friend/dev partner that rules can't fix a bad player. Some systems certainly try, but in the end it's a losing battle, and I don't want to make a worse game because we tried to make it jerk-proof. That's not who the game is for.

No problem! Personally I've only ever played 4e, and I think thr current edition is 6e, but I doubt they've changed the character building so much that this wouldn't work. If you like really crunchy games, I recommend 4e, otherwise 6e is probably best. (I hear they've streamlined quite a bit.)

I love tetris inventory systems in video games, but I've never seen one in a TTRPG.

I think Shadowrun would work well for this, though depending on the builds people have you might need 2-3 missions ready, but that also works well with the whole mercenary aspect.
January 22, 2026 at 12:50 AM
Oh, wow. This is one of the prettiest ones you've made.

Thank you for sharing. 💚

Oh, this is really good.
I'm waiting for the entirety of Deltarune to come out before playing it, so I'll check the animation out.... eventually.

I absolutely adore 4e Shadowrun. I know I'm in the minority here, because the game is very crunchy, but there's so much detail and building a character is so fun and you can genuinely build a completely viable non-combat character. I have made so many characters I will never play.

Love this. I get frustrated with how people crap on playing DnD. I can understand disliking WotC, but I already own the books. Some act like you're an idiot who just needs to "try another game". I have tried other games, I even like some better, but DnD is easy to find players for. But on that topic

I always like learning about new music.

I should definitely NOT buy this on DriveThruRPG right now, but it's very tempting. I need to see if I can get my friends to play this with me.

I like that generic games exist, because they're useful if I want to run a specific thing that doesn't have an accompanying TTRPG. But something custom-made will always be more satisfying in the end, which is why I'm so stoked for the Fallen London TTRPG release.
January 18, 2026 at 1:41 AM
Dang, sounds like I need to look into that.
January 18, 2026 at 1:35 AM
I'd be down. I haven't been terribly active on Discord, but I'm fixing that this year.
