This happens when ego-maniacs have power. They always know best: Trump, RFK Jr. What a time to be Americans. Sit tide for 4 years.

The chart is wrong. The average should be $ 260 and not $ 194, that doesn't look right. The overall pattern of the distribution looks very skewed. So I re-calculated.

The chart is wrong. The average should be $ 260. The overall pattern certainly looks very skewed. The reported average looks too low. So I re-calcuated.

Pardon is the right of the US precedent. So, why the fuss about the Hunter Baiden pardon. Stop being hypocrites, Republicans.

To become a champion is, too often, by chance or, at worst, by fraud. (Trump is a case in point.) To achieve excellence is the result of hard work and persistence. We need to applaud the latter nowadays.

Is there a messiah / superstar complex among a lot of Americans? We see that in sports, music and films. We need to understand that there is only one best; but there are many excellent individuals.

The Trump election has made the Australian parlement to enact a law to cap political donation during election, due shortly. The bill will be passed tomorrow. Ironically, the bill was tabled by the ruling richest party, Labour. Perhaps, there is still a modicum of common sense among politicians.

That PM was ousted in the next election, in his very safe seat, by an independent.
Voting is compulsory in Australia, which explains why our policies keep shifting a little to the left and a little to the right. That makes the population relatively happy, at least for some time.

The electorate in the US amuses many of us from down-under Australia. We had once elected (not me) a ultra-right, near-fascist prime minster. He lasted only 18 months and was ousted by his own party due to constituents' pressure.

I'd love to be told where I can find God's law against "racism, sexism, rape, greed and pedophilia". Those for me are against specific laws in human societies, which, of course, follow different standards.

no matter what a high-priced lawyer can manufacture in court, or how many votes a politician gets; neither democrats nor republicans are beyond God’s Law !!!

I always feel elevating whenever I am close to nature. It may be the primeval longing to go back to the universe at the end of life when our bodies will be recycled. That may be our real eternal life.

The question is that there are far too many a-critical users, who only look for people agreeing with them. I think it is a matter of civic education.

I'm from Australia. The political system here is taking heed of what is happening in the US. The parliament here has just passed a resolution to cap political donation to political parties.

My name is Tony. I just turned 84. Luckily, I'm in relatively good health and trying to get myself healthy in body, mind and emotions. My main way to keep a healthy body is my daily 20km bike ride.
