I'm listening for anyone in the #MSM to call out federal officials for gaslighting, and I'm not hearing it. Some come close, but they cannot, for whatever reason, do it. For the country's sake, they must not back down.

I found Dokoupil’s CBS Evening News Saturday show unwatchable. If that’s how they’re going to cover the issues, there’s no reason to watch another broadcast.

Given what I’ve been seeing lately, I am glad I do not subscribe to the NYT or WaPost. They are unrecognizable compared to their former selves. The country needs better.

One of the core responsibilities of journalism is to explain to the public who in government has the authority to do what and call out when those authorities are abused. When they fail to do so, democracy is weakened and journalism is cheapened. #localnews #msm
