Agreed. As a fellow atheist, it blows my mind too. I don't need the threat of punishment or the promise of a reward to treat people kindly. I'm moral because I love and value humanity and cherish my connections with others and the world.

I feel this. After I had my kid, I lost dairy, wheat, and soy. It'd a real struggle.
