Probably, but it’s been like that so long getting it lower is a pipe dream.

I think there should be a 4 team cap from every league like the old days. If a team from your country gets qualification via winning the CL or ECL, it’s at the expense of a league position. 6 English teams is crazy, and I’m EPL bias.
And sack off the extra place nonsense.

Reports here suggest it’s a done deal!
I just hope we get a Brazilian Brazil side back, if he’s in charge! Maybe like the squad of 1970…..

Don Carlo at Brazil just feels beyond perfect. Get that South American flair and individualism back!

Yeah I agree it’s super fine margins. Which is why I was hastened to add Arteta is obviously a good manager and Arsenal are in a far better place!
I wonder if he’s closer to a Poch than a Pep long term! But I also think they’d be mad to get rid of him.

I’m not just talking about individual games at all.
I’m talking about entire seasons. I’m talking about Arteta’s lack of original ideas to get more results over the course of a season leading to trophies.
Also didn’t beat city last year when it mattered. Didn’t beat Liverpool this year.

Completely agree it’s mainly Pep pre 2022.
That’s why Pep beat him in 22/23 with Stones and inverting fullbacks.
Although he copies Pep, using Zinchenko, but Pep quickly moves on again and beats him again in 23/24.
This year I think could be the plateau, as more coaches have their number.

My comparison would be he’s a domestic Southgate. Take the emotion out of it.
He’s a great club statesman. He’s elevated his team to where it should be but on the cusp of real success. He doesn’t have the tactical acumen to get them over the line.

I don’t think he has any of his own ideas which is why he’s always undone at the top top level, or by smarter up and coming coaches (Iraola).
Always feels like he’s doing Pep’s ideas from the year before which Pep has moved on from. Never does anything tactically interesting v better team.

A classic answer when someone has a dreadful argument.
Yes I do support my local team and the one my family have supported since its creation in 1903 👍

Paying and supporting your team doesn’t mean either a) your opinions can’t lack nuance b) you must support everything your club does or c) you can’t appreciate anything any other club does.
As if Philippe is new to football 😂!

Civil question: Any danger this is a poisoned chalice?
Re-sale prices are horrendous but conversely people can generally buy tickets to any event if they want, and getting tickets first time is increasingly difficult - which can’t all be because of touts?

Would be fascinating and also sensational if they were successful.

You’ve got to assume bans against multi-club ownership were built in to the foundations of the tournament and fifa will put the blame at Leon’s door!
The net financial repercussions for them will be huge surely?

Surely you use those stats in your own research to frame a question, his ultimate question. It’s not a maths exam you don’t need to show your working.

Tremendous news this!
Appreciate you’ve been a busy man recently. If you fancied jumping on our podcast this coming weekend for our part 2 segment where we focus on a specific team that would be terrific 👍! Or if you had any fellow Dumbarton fans who’d be keen!

Absolute madness.
I’m sure we’d be bitterly bitterly disappointed to lose again. But I’ll afford…. We’re not in Hearts’ position.
