Blue Skies smiling at me. Nothing but Blue Skies that I see…!
I guess it’s the same reason the music teacher at my elementary school was allowed to abuse boys for years, get busted, then be allowed to teach again with supervision after a last name change a few years later at the same school!!!
The system is still fucked. That’s why.

I think it is about pointing fingers and mine is pointed at Chevy.

Too much nostalgia for a non-NHL calibre Toews.
No sugar coating that Nyquist is crap.

Koepke and Pearson are ok @ 1M But it’s worth the risk losing them on waivers to send them to the Moose if it means more speed and energy.

It’s sad about those restaurants and shops downtown that have been affected.
I used to work on the 25th floor in the same building as you and I was a regular at the food places. Now Wpg Square’s food scene is nonexistent. All those mom & pop places are gone. Not enough clientele/can’t afford it. 😔

On a large scale I completely agree!
Just because I don’t like to work from home doesn’t mean I need to make my staff do it if it’s of no real benefit.
The owner of the last company I worked for was a fucking billionaire tyrant and insisted EVERYONE work in the office even though he didn’t. Prick!

Now playing devil’s advocate, having staff WFH introduces complexities in managing hardware and software. Everyone needs a laptop which are more expensive than desktops and keeping software up to date and secure is harder and also more expensive. But generally those costs are recouped quickly.
January 2, 2026 at 8:33 PM
I’m all for WFH, but personally I prefer going into the office (usually).
I give my staff a lot of leeway with it, but some days you need bodies in the office (I’m in IT).
That said, if you never handle a physical product there’s really no point in sitting in a cubicle when you can do it at home.

I’d focus more on Toews and Nyquist, before Nino.
Nino hasn’t been great because he doesn’t know who the hell he’s playing with and/or if they’ll be any help.

What a colossal cluster-fawk that began last season when Ehlers wasn’t convinced to stay and then offseason being a huge bust.

🤦‍♂️

Is Chipman looking at available GM’s?

Is Chevy looking to trade guys for pennies on the dollar?

When is Comrie getting sent to the Moose for “conditioning”?

What brand of hard liquor does Arniel drink to make him forget?

When do the core guys with NMC go “trade me right fucking now!”?

Snatching defeat from the hands of victory!

The Jets must be shadow-sponsored by Titleist this year, because it looks like they’ve already been working on their short-game.
January 2, 2026 at 2:32 AM
Another guy that needs to go. Love him as a person, but he’s not an NHL goalie now.
January 2, 2026 at 2:25 AM
This hasn’t aged well
January 2, 2026 at 1:40 AM
Correct. But I did apply for the settlement money.

Does Canada have an equivalent to the RICO act in the US?

Grocery stores are obviously colluding to fix pricing on an organized and criminal level.
People need to buy food or die and there are only so many places to shop.

Pepsi and Walmart in the US were just busted for price fixing, so…

Yet the under-twenty kids are blowing up the league in goal scoring
January 1, 2026 at 7:11 PM
Better game, but if guys aren’t hitting the waiver wire tonight then management heads need to roll.

Chevy needs to stop being a chickenshit and get rid of Toews and Nyquist.

Many once great players haven’t returned to NHL level after retiring. You don’t see Lucic in the league now, right?
January 1, 2026 at 2:31 AM
Complete bullshit Scheifele didn’t make it.
I know there’s so much talent, but it doesn’t make sense to me.
Is he picked if the Jets are in the top 5 instead of the cellar?
December 31, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Chevy blew it badly this offseason.
Now they’re wasting the talent of their core group of elite players.

Toews should do the honourable thing and retire again.
Nyquist should not be playing in the NHL. Period!
Send Koepke and Pearson to the Moose. No biggie if they get claimed IMO.

Blame the GM.

Stay safe!!

That’s a really nice song. I LOVE the pre-chorus. It sets a mood IMO.
The vibe feels kinda Susanna Hoffs-ish to me (I love her work btw)
Maybe I’ll build up the confidence to share my SoundCloud stuff one day.
Thanks for taking the time to share!

Lots of talent in that Bachman family!!
December 24, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Very cool! The closest I got to that ilk was hanging out singing karaoke of all things w/ Burton many moons ago when he had ownership in a local restaurant chain. He’d come in, play VLT’s most of the night and then when the bar closed he’d come sit with us and we’d sing for another few hours. Fun 👍

Him and his pops are from my home town ❤️
Always nice to be reminded of home-grown talent!

You better be careful posting a cat pic as all the conservative dog lovers will find another reason to complain. 🤣

Imagine… 3 or 4 guys in/out made all that difference.

When guys see other players continually played despite shitty performances morale takes a downturn.

Coach has to play the guys he has. Sounds like Chevy is playing favourites with at least Toews who should retire again.

Not a good look…
