Take the above for what its worth. VGK and Seattle dont count. Not sure if includes interims. What I see is that CBJ are at the higher end but not an outlier as far as coaching changes.

I think you nailed it regarding regarding Nancy trying to implement his system in the middle of the season in a situation like Celtic. Also might have worked with a weaker team that had nothing to lose.

I dont get all of the love for Chinakov. He showed flashes but couldnt stay on the ice and when playing seemed to disappear regardless of where he was in the lineup. Reminded me of Benstrom and Milano, other favorites of Jarmo. He might have a decent career but he doesnt fit here.

Essentially Chinakov for Marchment with other stuff thrown in. Waddell seems to want bigger winger who will play on the edge and go to the net and be defensively stronger. Good for him.
