If you're on PC you should have those options. I couldn't tell you exactly where to look. Possibly render resolution (if so set it to 100%)

What exactly is your issue with how they look? Are you referring to the upscaling? Turn off DLSS or FSR upscaling in the settings.

You could probably passively absorb info by watching YouTube videos of competitive games and googling anything you don't understand at first

I find a second long direct on it odd. As a GameCube Air Ride player I watched the first one and I was sold. I don't feel the need to watch a second. Putting myself in the shoes of someone who's neutral or mixed on the game, so far I'm not sure that person would want to watch either of the directs.

In black/white and their sequels the big city had a whole underground layer in the sewers. Not even anything like that in this game.

This experience seemed connected to my frontal lobe developing lol. Also just experiencing tragedy in real life. When I was kid "mom died" or "son died" didn't really hit me at all like it does now.

Are you doing all the side quests? They start out seeming like filler but after the introduction they start to flesh out the world and characters so much. I was so glad I did them all by the end of the game because it felt like properly rewarding side content.

As a solo hunter since 3rd gen I detest fights like this. I didn't do any in World/Iceborne and it looks like I won't be doing them in Wilds either.
