That wasn't what the article said. In no way do they support Trump, they're just demoralized and exhausted from fighting against him since 2017.

This is part of the problem. You can "view" something however you want, doesn't mean you're correct in your view. They voted exactly for the opposite. How do you fix that? Just lie to the prospective voters (as Trump did/does)?
